With winter well on its way, the magical and premier winter experience is coming back! Somerset Ice Skating is the winter event to experience, with its magnificent and amazing ice rink, that’s open for everyone,  a glorious 40ft Christmas tree and beautiful decorations. It creates picture-perfect moments that will last for a lifetime.

With one of the largest winter attractions in the UK, this ice skating experience is made for everyone to enjoy. The beautiful ice rink is filled with a magical setting, rinkside hot chocolates and beautiful lights around. Partnered with Virgin Holidays, you can expect a signature touch added to the magic.

Skate Lates with Rock Angel

Skate Lates with Rock Angel at Somerset House brings a fun and family-friendly party atmosphere to the rink, with a lively line-up of DJs and artists playing a mix of feel-good tunes, from UK Garage and Soul to popular dance hits. Each night offers something special, with highlights like Rohan Rakhit’s upbeat South Asian sounds, a three-night celebration from Rinse FM, and joyful mixes from Dankie Sounds.

After skating, families can cosy up in the Skate Lounge to enjoy the music, relax with a warm drink, and keep the festive energy going in a fun, welcoming setting for all ages!

Skate School

Children aged 6-10 are able to enjoy a session of skating lessons led by instructors that will help your little ones build their confidence on the ice. With a friendly environment and experienced ice marshals around, they’ll be pros in no time.
