    The incredible fireworks display at Alton Towers theme park is one of the UK’s biggest and best, drawing large crowds. A perfect way to bring the summer theme park season to an end. The event is always held on the closest weekend in November to the 5th. As a result, Alton Towers is the place to be on fireworks night for evening entertainment full of family fun!

    Huge fireworks will sparkle and glitter as they rocket up above with spectacular sights for visitors to the resort. Furthermore, a DJ will be on hand to build excitement before with a fireworks countdown. Then, the songs continue with amazing fireworks to music. A brand new story theme each year for the display means the fireworks bring Alton Towers theme park to life.

    Can I Access The Rides on Firework Event Dates?

    If spectacular fireworks aren’t enough, don’t worry the fun doesn’t stop there. On the nights of the fireworks displays, Alton Towers park hours for opening are extended. Therefore, because the theme park is open later you have extra time to enjoy additional rides. This can be helpful for popular rides such as Wicker Man that tend to have less queues at the end of the day, than at peak times.

    Even more exciting, because of the later opening you’ll even get the chance to experience some night rides!
