2. Available Ticket Upgrades

If you’re like me, waiting in queues in the blistering sun can be a bummer. Especially if you only have one day at a water park!

Well, at Siam Park, you can upgrade your standard and advanced tickets to an all-inclusive deluxe ticket! You’ll be given a wristband that gives you the power to skip all queues for every attraction, apart from Tower of Power. As many times as you like, meaning you can avoid queues even in peak times!

That’s only the tip of the iceberg though. With this wristband, you can get access to as much food and drink as you can manage. Leaving you hydrated and with full bellies. Sounds pretty great, right?

All-inclusive tickets cost £129.18 (151 Euros).

Don’t forget to buy your tickets in advance!

3. Don't Bring Food With You

So, any trip to a theme park or water park is a long day. We all love to have snacks on hand so we don’t get hungry during the day.

But if you want to save your food and not waste money – DO NOT bring your own food to the park. Unfortunately, outside food is not allowed. Water is, but that’s all.

You’ll have to buy your food AT the park for your lunchtime.

tower of power

4. Head Straight to the Tower of Power First

So, this is not the time to head to the small rides first. Not even Siam Beach or the wave pool!

No, we suggest you head straight to the Tower of Power first. This is because it’s the only water ride that doesn’t allow any skip-the-line options!

If you want to stay ahead of the game, then it should be your first water ride – before the park gets too busy! It’s also a good idea if you’re feeling a little nervous about the idea of a 28-metre high water slide… You can get it out of the way first and spend the rest of your day exploring the rest of the park!

And for any adventurous person looking for those adrenaline-pumping rides – you know Tower of Power is the first point of call!

5. Store Your Belongings in the Lockers

As parents, you have to carry a lot of stuff around with you at water parks. Spare clothes, towels, shoes, glasses, water bottles…the list goes on. Not to mention your phones! It’s something you can’t part with, especially in a different country.

Well, it’s advisable to hire a private locker for either 5 or 8 Euros!

Why is this better? Well, it keeps your belongings safe, you don’t have to carry your towels around with you and you can enjoy the park hands-free!

6. Keep Belongings in the Lockers

This tip goes in hand with number 5. It’s important to note, that you aren’t allowed a-n-y-t-h-i-n-g on you on the rides.

That means no jewellery, sunglasses, flip-flops, loose items or even prescription glasses.

They’re quite strict on these rules, so if don’t want to be turned away or lose your stuff, make sure to keep it in the locker. Tied securely onto you or left with a safe person.

water ride

7. Ride the Mekong Rapids First - Then Follow Kinaree

So, this sounds really specific – but it’s for good reason!

Mekong Rapids and Kinaree are two of the most popular rides at Siam Park – which means they get pretty busy. But that isn’t the issue here…

The issue is that after you’ve gone to the thrilling ride that is Mekong Rapids, you can’t get back to the park without going up the stairs to ride Kinaree! Which won’t be an issue for some!

But if you had already ridden Kinaree and weren’t thinking of riding again after Mekong Rapids – then you’d have no other choice but to ride. Oh no

So, make sure you ride Mekong Rapids before Kinaree to then get back into the park!

This advice is for those who like to get around to everything first, before experiencing it a second time!

8. The Best Month To Visit Siam Water Park Is...

May! The weather is literally perfect averaging at 25-30°C. So, it’s not too hot that your feet can’t touch the ground and it’s definitely not cold that you’re shivering!

As well as the best temperatures, the queues seem to be small, as it’s the quiet season at this popular attraction. So, you may be able to get around twice on every ride – score! And with plenty of water slides, Siam Park’s the best place to be for a splash-tastic family day out!

Don’t forget to enjoy the biggest artificial waves and relax on the sun loungers on Siam Beach and Coco Beach – less people means more space!

So, if you’re looking to visit before the summer season makes a head start why not go during May half-term?

9. Know The Height Restrictions

With any aquatic thrills come restrictions. Especially height restrictions – with various-sized slides, it’s important to know who can and can’t ride the water slides.

There are several family attractions and water slides with a height limit of 1.1m and others are 1.25m. So, shorter kids may not be allowed on some of the slides.

The only attractions that don’t have a height restriction are the Lost City, Sawasdee and the Wave Palace.

For thrill-seekers, the Tower of Power has a height restriction of 1.4m and an age limit of 14+ years.

The more you know, the better your trip will be!
