Our Arrival & First Impressions
It was easy to find and had lots of parking space. Getting out of the car, we found different wooden shed like buildings, one for the entrance to the animals, another for dog grooming and another for the cafe/butchers. Prices were clear to see. This place is such a great find for younger children!
Activities Breakdown
We paid £3 for a bucket of food for the animals. Both boys had fun taking turns to feed the llamas, alpacas, sheep and goats.
Half way round, the boys enjoyed jumping on the bouncy pillows and play area.

Feeding the animals
We didn’t realise how interactive the animals were, they were so friendly and came over to feed. The boys loved this!

Being chased around the field by llamas
The llamas and alpacas were positioned in the middle of the area and there was a walk way to allow you to walk around their pen. Seeing animals on each side. At first the boys found this very funny and enjoyed the up close interaction, but they are quite big and can put their heads between the fence to get closer to you
Food & Drink
We arrived at 1pm and the boys wanted to go and see the animals straight away. The cafe closes at 2:30 we didn’t get chance to try their food, even drinks were very limited.
Money-Saving Tip
Take a picnic. There are lots of benches dotted around and a nice sheltered area near the play area for eating and drinking.

What We Loved
Animal feeding- Up close with the animals
- Good price for entrance
- Great open space to let your little one run around
- Play area for younger/ older children
Could Be Better
Mostly outdoor- not ideal for a rainy day- The animals can be a bit frightening if your child doesn’t like being close to them
- The bouncy pillows are surrounded by sand
Overall Verdict & Ratings
There is one hand washing area in the main entrance where you pay for admission
There are various talks throughout the day where you can meet the different animals.
I feel there should be options to get food and drinks when the cafe is shut, but seemed a little limited for us.
It wasn’t too busy at all. We had a nice time.
The children moved their time here. They had lots of fun!
Good value. It’s not somewhere you could spend the whole day, but seems reasonably priced for the experience you get

It was great, a nice place to visit which is local. We look forward to visiting again.
