If you and your family love watching movies together, whether it’s at home or in a cinema, then we’ve got you covered for the year (so far!). Everyone loves a good movie to get lost in, to make them laugh and watch in wonderment, so we’ve compiled a list of all new family movies coming out in 2022. Whether it’s a new Marvel feature, comical animations or a live-action set to have you on the edge of your seats!

Family Movies Coming Out in 2022: 

January - April

The Addams Family 2 - 6th January
- starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Wallace Shawn, Javon Walton and Oscar Isaac

Your favourite spooky family is back with The Addams Family 2 movie! Join them on their adventurous family road trip in a huge, horrendous camper van, will they become closer as a family at the end of it?

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania - January 14th
- starring Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez and many more.

Witness the new transformations from Van Helsing's mysterious invention! Drac and his friends become humans and Johnny becomes a monster! Will the pack be able to fix this before the transformation becomes permanent? 

Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild - January  28th
- starring Simon Pegg.

Join Buck Wild as he ventures the Lost World, with Eddy and Crash, as they try to stop the Dinosaurs from taking over! A Disney+ series.

Sing 2 - 28th January
- starring Scarlett Johansson, Taron Egerton, Bono, Tori Kelly, plus more great stars!

Buster Moon, the can-do koala is on a mission to prepare his all-star cast of animals to perform on a dazzling stage extravaganza in the entertainment capital of the world! But, he needs to persuade the world's most reclusive rock star to join them. Will he be successful or will he end up going on an emotional rollercoaster to bring the power of music?

Rumble - February

Discover a world where monsters are tame and wrestle in a playful, popular sport! With a bright, young aspiring manager, Winnie wants to follow in her Father's footsteps and turn an inexperienced monster into a great contender! 

Turning Red - 11th March
- starring Rosalie Chiang, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Sandra Oh and Wai Ching Ho.

Mei Lee is a 13-year old with a confident, but dorky personality, who is coming to terms with becoming an adolescent. But to add to the chaos of the change, she becomes a giant red panda whenever she gets too excited! 

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 - 8th April
- Idris Elba, Jim Carrey, Ben Schwartz and Colleen O'Shaughnessey.

After settling into his new life, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to become a true hero. And when Dr. Robotnik returns with his new partner, Knuckles in search of a mystical emerald with the power to destroy civilisations, Sonic sets out to thwart the Dr's plans. By joining up with his own partner, Tails, they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald before it falls into the wrong hands.

Fantastic Beasts: Secrets of Dumbledore - 15th April
- starring Jude Law, Eddie Redmayne, Ezra Miller and Mads Mikkelsen.

As Gellert Grindelwald, the dark wizard becomes more powerful and is intent on seizing control of the Wizarding World, Professor Albert Dumbledore seeks help from magizoologist Newt Scamander. As a pair up to lead an intrepid team of wizards and witches to help thwart Grindelwald's plans. But they soon encounter old and new beasts as they clash with the growing legion of Grindelwald's followers. 

May - August

Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness - 6th May
- starring Benedict Cumberbatch, Elizabeth Olsen, Rachel McAdams, Xochitl Gomez and more!

After the events of Spider-Man No Way Home and Loki, Dr. Strange casts a forbidden spell that opens the door to the Multiverse, where he encounters an alternate version of himself, whose threat to humanity is too great to fight against the combined forces of Dr. Strange, Wong and Wanda Maximoff.

DC League of Super-Pets - 20th May
- starring Dwayne Johnson, Keanu Reeves, Kevin Hart and John Krasinski.

Krypto the Super-Dog and Superman are inseparable best friends, with the same superpowers and fighting crime together in the city of Metropolis. However, when the Man of Steel and the Justice League are kidnapped, it's up to Kryptop to convince a group of ragtag animals to master their newfound powers and embark on a rescue mission.

The Bob’s Burgers Movie - 27th May
- starring Kristen Schaal, H. Jon Benjamin, Dan Mintz and Sam Seder.

Jurassic World: Dominion - 10th June
- starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas-Howard, Sam Neil, Jeff Goldblum and Laura Dern.

Set 4 years after the events of Jurassic World - Fallen Kingdom, where the genetically engineered dinosaurs were auctioned to companies around the world as well as set free in USA mainland. This story depicts humans dealing with the aftermath and coexisting with invasive dinosaur species.

Lightyear  - 17th June
- starring Chris Evans and Taika Waititi.

Join action figure Buzz Lightyear on his origin story and his adventures to infinity and beyond.

Minions: The Rise of Gru - 1st July
- starring Steve Carrel, Taraji P. Hensen, Michelle Yeoh and Julie Andrews (plus more!)

Thor: Love and Thunder - 8th July

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish - 23rd September

Spellbound - 11th November
