We’ve already revealed the top Easter egg hunts near you, done our guide to Cadbury Easter egg hunts, but for even more Easter fun, here are some of our favourite events taking place during the Easter holidays. We’ve even included some suggestions in case the beast from the East rears its head again and we have a white Easter on our hands. Let’s get cracking…

Easter Eggstravaganza at West Midland Safari Park, Worcestershire
13th – 28th April 2019
Lots of enormous Easter eggs will be hiding scattered around West Midland Safari Park – it’s up to you and your little eggspolrers to spot them all. Complete your quest and you’ll earn yourself a worthy chocolatey prize. Are you a master of the selfie? Eggstreme Easter at Twinlakes Park, Leicestershire
30th – 31st March & 6th – 23rd April 2019
Wondering what a truly eggstreme Easter event looks like? Well, how about the BIGGEST ever egg hunt, in the history of Twinlakes Park, with a chocolate prize for each child! Then, there’s the chance to meet the Easter Bunny at his wondrous 2-storey grotto. The whole experience costs just £6 and no child will leave without a gift. Plus, let’s not forget that the Chipperfields Circus will be performing (13th – 23rd April) and they’ll be bringing out the dreaded Wheel of Death. Believe us, this is a spectacle you won’t want to miss…

Easter at Rush Trampoline Parks, Birmingham & High Wycombe
19th – 22nd April 2019
Eating all that Easter chocolate got your kids bursting with energy? Hop into action at Rush Trampoline Park in Birmingham or High Wycombe with a fun-packed jump session and take part in an eggciting Toddler Easter Egg Hunt (£3pp). Your little ones will be tasked with finding hidden numbered stickers around the park. Once the search is complete and their jumping session is over, there will be goodies waiting for them at reception. Oh, the Easter Bunny will also be making an appearance, so be sure to say “Hi” when he hops by!

- Easter Adventure at Stockeld Park, West Yorkshire
30th March – 28th April 2019If you happen to live close to Stockeld Park, you don’t have to ask “What’s the best east event near me?”. The Park will come to life this spring with different Easter events taking place for almost a month: hunt for giant character Easter eggs in the Enchanted Forest, help the hatching chicks, meet the lambs and watch an Easter circus and and Easter show. Different activities take place on different dates, so make sure you check the schedule before you go.
- Easter Special 2019 at Audley End Miniature Railway, Essex
6th – 22nd April 2019Audley End Miniature Railway will take you on a magical train journey through the forest to meet the Easter Bunny. He’ll be waiting at his home with his friends, ready to say “Hi” and offer you something sweet. There’s also an Easter Trail with animals, nests and eggs scattered all throughout. Spot them all and you’ll win an Easter gift. Make sure you hop by the Craft Area, as well, and take anything you make home.
- Wiglet’s Easter Eggstravaganza at Godstone Farm, Surrey
6th – 22nd April 2019Eggciting Easter event is planned at Godstone Farm this year, so come check it out! Get up-close to adorable newborn lambs and chicks in scheduled daily activities. Experience the excitement of the rubber duck races, meet the Farm mascots and become a Shetland pony hairstylist. Fancy a prize? Visit on Easter weekend (19th to 22nd April) and take part in the Mega Egg Dash for a chance to win.
- Egg-cellent Easter at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure, Norfolk
8th – 22nd April 2019Put a magical twist on your Easter day out, as the Dinosaur Woodland Trail at Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure transforms into Alice’s Wonderland. Meet the real White Rabbit, have tea with the Mad Hatter, join Dippy for disco dancing and much more. Don’t forget to look for Easter Eggs and swap them for an Easter mask at the end. If you live in Norfolk, this will be one of the best Easter events near you, for certain!
- Easter Holiday Family Fun at World of Country Life, Devon
6th – 22nd April 2019Farmyard fun awaits this Easter at World of Country Life: walk a goat, bottle-feed a lamb, hand-feed the deer and more. That’s not all! If you visit during Easter weekend, you can take part in special Easter events for kids, including an Easter Egg Trail and various arts and crafts sessions. Complete the trail and you’ll get delicious chocolatey goodies!
- Giant Easter Duck Trail at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre, Lancashire
6th – 22nd April 2019The Easter event at WWT Martin Mere Wetland Centre is all about rubber ducks: find the 25 giant rubber ducks hidden in the wetlands,; then paint your own rubber duckling at the crafts zone and bring it back on 6th May to take part in the Annual Duck Race. A brand new pond dipping zone is opening in time for Easter, so get ready for some splashing fun on top!
- Easter Eggstravaganza at Blue Reef Aquarium Tynemouth, Tyne & Wear
6th – 21st April 2019Fancy finding a rather unusual Easter event near you? How about you put an education twist to it and learn about the eggs under the sea! This years Easter event at Blue Reef Aquarium Tynemouth will teach you facts and legends about the eggs of your favourite marine creatures. You can have a go at cracking the Easter puzzle, or if you visit on Easter Sunday, you can search for some hidden chocolate eggs.
- Easter at the Den at William’s Den, Yorkshire
6th – 22nd April 2019Easter at William’s Den will be celebrated with an Easter festivals of sorts, packed with traditional Easter activities, including egg and spoon racing, egg hunts, a Bunny Bop for the dancing kings and queens, and lots more. How about sweets, you ask? Not to worry – there will be seasonal treats on offer, including delicious, ‘egg’stra special Easter ice-cream. Yum!
- Easter Fun at Gower Heritage Centre, Glamorgan and Cardiff
13th – 28th April 2019Alice and the Mad Hatter will be hosting an Easter tea party at Gower Heritage Centre. There will be real tea, cakes, sandwiches, plus games, singing, dancing and lots of seasonal arts & crafts. Be sure to dress up for the Alice in Wonderland theme, so you can enter the fancy dress competition. Oh, and practice your balance skills if you want to take part in the egg and spoon races!
- Easter Activities at Carnfunnock Country Park, County Antrim
6th – 23rd April 2019Carnfunnock Country Park is hosting lots of Easter events and activities all throughout April. Into crafts? Join a crafts session to learn how to make an Easter bonnet, or a spring friendship bracelet. Spring into the fun and take part in the Easter Egg Roll Competition, Bunny Bingo, dancing and more. All you have to do is check the park’s events’ programme and you’ll be sorted for the whole Easter season!
- Easter @ Pit at the National Coal Mining Museum, West Yorkshire
6th – 28th April 2019How about an Easter event near you with a historical theme? Meet living history characters and get involved with hands-on Easter activities at the National Coal Mining Museum in Wakefield. Venture on an egg hunt with a mining twist, watch a shadow puppet show and take part in family arts and crafts sessions. Don’t forget to pick up an activity trail from reception when you go in!
