Looking for a free interactive art exhibition this year? Prepare to be transported into the digital natural world… Sync your movements to the largest digital canvas on the planet and watch the wonders of light and art unfold! Now, here’s a list of reasons (with a brief explanation) why you should visit The Spaces In Between Exhibition by Rupert Newman…
What is ‘The Spaces In-between Exhibition?’
The Spaces In-Between enables the public to sync their body movements with a breath-taking digital light artwork on the largest digital canvas in the world! The aim of this exhibit is to uplift people by immersing them in light, colour, and shapes which will, in turn, create a crystalline cathedral of light.
The artist states that colour, shape and sound create a harmonious blend that shifts with time, while rays of light create a sense of crisp focus. You’ll get to embark on this surreal journey as geometric figures in simplified forms.
Executed by Pixel Artworks the exhibition consists of three artworks: ‘Tessellations’ & ‘Transcendence’, which transport visitors to a digital natural world, and ‘A Step Beyond’.
Why Should I Visit ‘The Spaces In-between Exhibition?’
Not only is this a money-saving attraction but you’ll get a delicious hit of culture that is unlike most traditional art galleries. Forget the old ‘oil on canvas’ technique, it’s all about refracted lights and virtual environments! This exhibit shows how art and technology can cook up something magical that all guests can interact with. After all, how often is it that you can embody a piece of art?
And lastly, it’s super visual! This may be a given but if you’re an art lover or you love to share exciting visual events on social media then this is the perfect Instagrammable spot to check out. The breathtaking digital artwork display captures beautifully on videos and photographs. Feel free to take some snaps of the abstract shapes and beams of light that create the crystalline cathedral of light!
