The Best London Pop-Up Attractions This Summer

Do you love art? Do you love mazes? Well, we found a summer pop-up that combines both!

At Brent Cross Town, you can find the spectacular art maze! A brand new immersive art installation jam-packed with joyful works of art that celebrate female artists. It’s BIG, it’s bright, and it’s sure to capture your attention! And the best part is that 3 female artists will continue to add to it over the summer, so it’ll always remain unique!

It’s a bright and colourful day out to experience, and it’s also FREE because, let’s face it, we all enjoy a free day out.

Looking for a quintessentially British day out? How about hunting for iconic British sculptures dotted around the city?!

To celebrate King Charle’s birthday this year, an array of classic British iconography was spread around South Westminster. From the crown, iconic telephone box and double-decker bus to a teacup, rain boots, a black cab tax and more!!

There are 11 sculptures to be found across London Heritage Quarter, so make sure you have your exploring cap on! Not to mention it’s a FREE summer pop-up that the whole family can enjoy. Not only can you explore London and it’s breathtaking views, but also dive in to what makes us…well British!

It’s only around until the 4th of August, so get searching!

Now, you can’t fully celebrate summer without taking a trip to a sunflower field! And you’re in luck because at Tulley’s Farm, you’ll be blessed with gorgeous views of sun-shining flowers that are so bright it might just blind your eyes…

Selfridge’s has their sports hat on this summer because they have a fantastic sports bar pop-up that’s taken over one of their restaurants, Harry Gordona’s Bar and Kitchen! Which features sports clothing throughout history straight from the archives – an absolute must for sports fans everywhere.

Partnering up with the sports brand Champion to celebrate Sportopia, the brand new sports bar also features a whopping 40ft climbing wall on Edwards Mew!

It’s time to wire up and compete with your friends or family on who can reach the top first! Each session lasts 45 minutes, so you can really get your climber on – are you ready to brave the dizzying heights?

So, everyone knows this is the summer of sports! With the Euros and now the Olympics, it can’t get any better than that for sports fans…or can it…?

Introducing the Battersea Games! Completely FREE, you can take part in a host of family-friendly sports and activities, throughout the whole summer! From Padel courts, a 100m running track, giant lawn games, table tennis, a climbing wall and badminton, you’ll have so many choices you won’t know what to pick!

This summer pop-up not only looks like a beach, but you’ll be able to indulge in classic fish and chips, soft-serve ice cream and, of course, lots of refreshments. From draught beers and frozen cocktails to soft drinks too.

So, if you’re unable to head to a beach this summer, why not take a trip to Walthamstow and have a beach day? Bring your buckets, spades and, of course, suncream!

The V&A Museum is in its Swiftie Era, and who can blame it?! Taylor Swift became the main attraction in London this summer. She’s heading back to Wembley for her last UK dates this August, and London has gone all out to welcome her.

The V&A Museum will unveil its newest exhibit, the Songbook Trail, which will showcase iconic costumes, dresses, and outfits Taylor Swift has worn throughout her career. From personalised cowboy boots and Grammy Awards outfits to iconic dresses she wore in music videos.

Not only are they clothes, but also the musical instruments she’s played, taken from her personal archive. It’s the must-see event for any Swiftie (I’ll be visiting it, too!). Not to mention, it’s completely FREE!! It’s the perfect stop-off for the Eras Tour.

Jellycats have completely taken over my TikTok for you page, and I’m completely HAPPY about that because they’re literally so adorable!

This summer, Selfridges has knocked it out of the park by hosting a Fish & Chips by Jellycat shop! It’s complete with fish and chips, mush peas, lemon wedge, vinegar, and salt and pepper Jellycats! They’re so adorable.

But the best part is that they wrap up all the Jellycats as if they were wrapping a bag of chips! You can also squeeze the lemon wedge on your chips.

So, we know this isn’t an attraction, but it’s too good not to include! The scrumptious gelato shop is bringing out the delicious Snow Mango this summer, and it sounds simply divine.

Made from real, juicy mangos, their talented gelato chefs have created a new dining experience that is the epitome of summer. A creamy sorbetto covered in white chocolate and formed like a mango that is so vibrant and tasty looking – it may actually be too good enough to eat! It’s set to become a fan-favourite treat, so make sure you don’t miss out!
