Fancy a walk on the wild side and to see the beautiful Autumn colours of British woodlands?
Then, you need to head to Autumn Fest Bristol Zoo Project. A special event celebrating the wildlife and nature of the Autumn season. Here’s all you need to know…
What is Autumn Fest?
Autumn Fest is a fun event to celebrate the nature and the beauty of the season full of Autumn colour.
During September, October and November 2023 visitors to the Bristol Zoo Project can pick up a nature spotter sheet. Then, follow the special Autumn Fest trail and become a nature spotter ticking off what you see. A great way to get kids outdoors enjoying nature and getting plenty of fresh air!
Can you find conkers or acorns? Maybe you’ll be lucky and spot the zoo’s latest residents- Philippine spotted deer.
When and where is Autumn Fest?
The Bristol Zoo Project, previously The Wild place is a fantastic zoo and conservation charity. People visit to see amazing creatures from all over the world, like playful lemurs and majestic European wolves.
There’s also the impressive Bear Wood, home to big brown bears with an exciting bear viewing den. So, visitors can see these majestic animals up close!
In addition, there are big open spaces where kids can run and explore, and even a cool barefoot trail to feel nature underfoot. The project also helps protect endangered animals and teaches us how to care for our planet. So, if you love nature and want to learn more about it, the Bristol Zoo Project is a must-visit spot!
