The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get the ticket/train time you desire. Railcards are not required to purchase a Family Fare. Railcards are not applicable to Family Fares.
Family Plus T&Cs
Can be purchased for travel in Standard and Standard Premium (dependent on availability). 2 to 5 customers can travel together using a Family Advance (minimum of one child and one adult, maximum of two adults and three children, or one adult and four children). Refundable up to the departure time. After the original departure time the ticket is no longer refundable. Click here for refund information. Table seat guaranteed. Families of 5 will be allocated 4 seats around a table and one seat across the aisle. Families of 2 to 3 will be allocated to a table of 4. The remaining seats around the table might be allocated to other customers. Availability varies by service. The earlier you book, the more likely you are to get the ticket/train time you desire.
