RAF Holmpton is a massive Underground Command Centre, which has been rebuilt several times over its 60 years.

There are a huge number of rooms including the Hospital, Dormitories, Offices, Situation Room, Telephone Exchange, Message Centre, Plant Rooms and 3 Operations Rooms, all fully fitted out with original equipment.

Our Award Winning 2012 Fully Guided Tour includes films, shows and demonstrations, that really bring the Bunker to life.

There are explosions, sirens and working machines all there to make your visit a Real Experience.

We sell refreshments. We have a New Shop for 2012 - There is Free car parking with WC's on site. All inside so never mind the weather, just come along for a Great Time.

There are both Female & Male toilets in the Reception Area and there are further WC's available mid way through the tour underground.

The tour underground is not suitable for under 5's but if someone is waiting on the surface with a youngster we can always provide facilities on request.

A1033 to Withernsea, then follow the UNDERGROUND BUNKER Signs to our gates (Holmpton is 3 miles from Withernsea) - At Holmpton drive straight through the village and take the 1st turn right signed UNDERGROUND BUNKER & RAF HOLMPTON

The tour is fully underground. The Bunker is well lit, Air Conditioned and Centrally Heated. There are 3 staircases all with half landings and good handrails. Some quite long walks. The tour is not suitable for under 5's.
