At Zoology Museum and Botanic Garden there is 11 acre Cruickshank Botanic Garden to blow the cobwebs away and next to the Zoology Museum where you can see a wide range of stuffed and skeletal animals.
Within the Biodiversity Centre Education Room, get up close to the local mammals and birds, huge skulls, snake skins and whale bones. Open free Monday to Friday 09:30 - 15:30, except when booked by a visiting group.

Had a great time - we took a picnic and ate in the garden kids were fascinated found frogs kn the ponds seen deer in yhe garden and seen stuffed animals we never knew existed. My girls weee 4,6,14 & 17 something for everyone - cant believe it was all free - great day out x
