Celebrate the story of Josiah Wedgwood and delve into the history of the V&A Wedgwood Collection. Did you know that Josiah opened his Etruria factory in 1769?! There's a lot of history to discover, especially if you love all things in the art world!

Delve into Wedgwood's design history and creative future. Discover UNESCO-recognised archives, immersive yourself in family fun activities or head out on a guided tour! Did you know there are over 165,000 works of art?! From ceramics, photographs and designs to beautiful vases with elegant and intricate designs. There's something for everyone to discover! Even family-fun trails that guide you through Wedgwood museum. 

Wedgwood Factory Tours
Would you like to get behind the scenes of the iconic museum collection and uncover all creative experiences?

Head onto an award-winning Wedgwood Factory Tour and discover the beauty of craftsmanship of their famous jasperware or admire the wonderful craftsmanship of the workers who cast, glaze, decorate and gild in their marvellous 1940s factory! 

But that's not all. You can journey through the museum's galleries throughout its history to the beginning of Wedgwood. Discover something new with every visit! From intricate artworks and delicate ceramics to wonderful designs and interesting stories. 

Creative Studios
Want to get stuck into some action? And dive deeper into the world of Wedgwood? Head to their Creative Studio for an immersive experience like no other! 
Both adults and children can experience pottery sessions, and enjoy a creative experience at pot throwing! Or some light-hearted and creative pottery painting.

With a whole host of family-friendly activities and events to enjoy, you could become pros at pottery!  

Outdoor Adventures
In the mood to explore the outdoors? If it's a bright and sunny day, then why not! 

Head on out and discover rolling hills, lush parkland, peaceful lakes and wonderful wildlife. Did you know it's a National Trust nature reserve? Now you do!
Wander through the quaint woodlands, browse past historical buildings and enjoy lakeside walks! Wedgwood Pool is perfect for the whole family, for walks, and to catch a glimpse of some beautiful wildlife. From herons and elegant swans to cute ducklings and bunnies! 

After, embark on a journey through Hem Heath Woods on a nature trail. At the very back of their car park, discover a secret path that will lead you to the magnificent woodland. With 100 acres to explore, it's known as the largest woodland on the edge of Stoke-on-Trent! Uncover multiple species of trees, from oak, ash and cherry to sycamore and beech! Open your ears to the sounds of bird calls and breathe in a breath of fresh air and enjoy the sweet smells of wildflowers. It's a nature lovers' paradise!

You can sit back on a swinging hammock, get messy with mud pies or sit and relax around a campfire in new forest school sessions!

World of Wedgwood is a memorable experience for all the family! Whether you enjoy strolling the landscaped grounds, taking part in creative pottery sessions, or embarking on a self-guided tour, there's so much to get stuck into!

Feeling peckish? The Wedgwood Afternoon Tea experience is a great way to relax after exploring the Wedgwood Estate. Surround yourself with colourful dining and light refreshments. 

Sit back in a stunning restaurant and enjoy a spot of tea, where you can choose from a selection of generously filled sandwiches, scones and chocolate brownies, or macaroons, Bakewell tarts, and plenty more delicious desserts in the Wedgwood Tea Room. You can also enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch here! The kids even have the option for a Little Gardens Afternoon Tea! A little slice of luxury for the little ones - what could be better? 

They cater to various dietary requirements. Including vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free and gluten-free. 

Room for a little extra? Enjoy the finest on-the-go, home-cooked food from the World of Wedgwood courtyard. They serve an exquisite range of hot meals from loaded nachos to full English Breakfasts - YUM! Psst, you can even borrow a blanket to set up your own picnic!
