If your child is a fan of automobiles or you have fond memories of visiting model railways when you were a child, why not indulge the family with a visit to the Wonderful World of Trains and Planes? With colouring sheets for children and adults, model railways you can drive, and even models to put together, the whole family can have fun here.
If the sight of all these models is making you itch to build one yourself, you're in luck. There are Quickbuild kits in the activity area so you can whip up a Spitfire plane or a Lamborghini car and maybe even race against a family member to see who can create it the fastest!
Children might object to going to school on a family day out, but they'll soon change their minds when they find out they'll be going to Flight School! Using the Wonderful World of Trains and Planes' flight simulators, they can complete five pre-set flights and receive a certificate – or they might decide to have one go at piloting their plane to Las Vegas or Birmingham airport.
Race using the Scalextric track and see who comes top. Plan your rematch for the next time you come!
