Westonbirt is a unique collection of 15,000 specimen trees. Robert Holford laid out the main paths from the 1850s onwards using trees collected by plant hunters who travelled the globe in search of the unusual.
There are 17 miles of paths throughout arboretum, with levels of accessibility to suit a range of visitors. Westonbirt is great fun for families - fire imaginations with an adventure into the trees by following Westonbirt’s play trail.
You’ll find a cafe, restaurant and shop onsite, whilst Westonbirt’s Welcome Building offers visitors a fascinating introduction to the tree collection.
