Get prepared to go on a journey that spans continents, species and millions of years at West Midland Safari Park!
Start your safari experience by driving through the African Plains where you can hand feed a giraffe, count the number of stripes on a zebra and watch the white rhino play in their family groups. In Wild Asia you’ll spot one-horned rhino and enormous Asian water buffalo before bracing yourself for the Carnivores area, where African lions will watch you through sleepy eyes and, if you’re lucky, you’ll see the cheetah pick up some speed.
The list of amazing animals you can tick off your list doesn’t stop there! The most impressive of them all has to be the intelligent, powerful and beautiful African elephant in Elephant Valley.
Talking about impressive, once you step off the safari, travel back in time to the Land of the Living Dinosaurs, the UK’s largest animatronic dinosaur attraction! It’s not time to pack up and go home yet though. In the all-weather Discover Trail you’ll see penguins, otters, lorikeets and your favourite scaly, slimy and eight-legged friends and, finally, take a walk with the lemurs and meet the meerkats in the African Village.
Also take time to experience the Adventure Theme Park with dozens of rides to enjoy. From traditional fun fair rides to roller coasters, there's something fun for all ages. Some rides are definitely not for the faint-hearted!
