Walk through the Grand Hall or scour the grounds of the Forbidden Forest. Join hundreds of wizarding students as they board the Hogwarts Express from Platform 9¾. Glide through the cobbled streets of Diagon Alley and learn about how each unique building was crafted and where it was used - you'll be shocked to learn how many buildings were redressed for different iconic film sets.

Warner Bros Studio Tour London provides an amazing opportunity to explore the magic of the Harry Potter films. This unique walking tour takes you behind the scenes and showcases a huge array of beautiful sets, costumes and props - oh, and there's a gift shop too!
The day reveals some closely guarded secrets, including facts about the special effects and animatronics that made the film series so hugely popular all over the world. And now the Harry Potter studio tour is better than ever with an extension to Platform 9 ¾ - will you make it through the platform wall..?
You will also get the chance to step onto the famous cobbles of Diagon Alley, featuring the shop fronts of Ollivanders Wand Shop, Flourish and Blotts, the Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes, Gringotts Wizarding Bank and Eeylop's Owl Emporium.
There are loads of iconic & original props from the films, including Harry's Nimbus 2000 and the Mirror of Erised. Plus you can learn how creatures were brought to life with green screen effects, animatronics and life-sized models!
Remember Ron's frilly tux at the Yule Ball? At the Warner Bros Tour you can get up close to every frill, toggle and bow in the costumes section. View the original costumes worn by Daniel Radcliffe and his co-stars. Check out his Quidditch clobber and more!
An even more exciting part of the tour is the creature effects exhibit. Uncover all the fine details of how all your favourite creatures were created using special effects. Visitors can see a full-size practical Basilisk mouth was created by the Creature Shop to fight against in the final battle scene measuring up at 30ft long with jaws 3ft deep.

Food & Drink
There are lots of magical places to pick up scrumptious snacks or take a break. Check out The Chocolate Frog Café for delicious wizarding confectionery like cakes, ice cream, and hot chocolate. Head to The Hub Café serves speciality Starbucks hot and cold drinks, grab and go sandwiches and bakery items throughout the day.
For a more substantial meal make sure you visit The Food Hall! Situated in the Studio Tour Hub, the Food Hall serves breakfast, hot and cold dishes, sandwiches as well as a selection of drinks and a full bakery in a refectory style setting. The Food Hall menu is served from the opening of the Tour until 8pm when we close at 10pm and until 5pm at all other times.

By train
The nearest train station to the studio tour is
Watford Junction. The studio tour is just a 20-minute train journey from London Euston and a 1-hour long journey from Birmingham New Street. Take the train to Watford Junction (£4.00) and then hop aboard the shuttle service (£3.00 for a return journey) to the studio. Oyster cards are valid between the stations.
By bus
Shuttle buses operated by Mullany’s Coaches run regularly from Watford Junction to the studio. An average journey should take about 15 minutes; a bus is available every 20 minutes from 09:20 AM every day. The last bus is generally scheduled between 06:00 PM and 08:00 PM. Please note that you would need to display your booking confirmation to access the shuttle transfers.
By road
The Studio Tour is located 20 miles (32 km) north-west of London and less than 3 miles (4.5 km) from Junction 6 of the M1 and M25 motorways.
- If you are arriving from London, take the A41 for 3 miles.
- Then take the 4th exit from the Hunton Bridge Roundabout and get back onto the A41.
- Stay in the left lane and take the first exit.
- Keep left at the Y junction and take the exit at the roundabout to reach the studio tour.
