Wakehurst Gardens are perfect for little explorers who are fascinated by the natural world. There's so much to do here that's just for kids!
Pick up a passport and start your adventure. Will you head to the mysterious talking totems? Although they look hundreds of years old, they were carved by local craftspeople and make different music and sounds when you tap them! See if you can play a tune with them.
Clamber up the climbing poles to see what creatures are hidden inside. After, if you want to have a little bit of a break, settle into the living woven willow structures for a sitdown. Designed by a willow artist and a local basket-weaver, these structures are great for play or rest.
Follow your nose to the Scents of Direction garden. Here, in the growing season, the garden comes alive with colour, perfume, and magic! You'll need all your senses to find the bronze seed capsule hidden somewhere within!
There are beams to balance on in the woods, a trunk hopping challenge, and even a massive labyrinth for your kids to explore! Afterwards, take your passport to the Millennium Seed Bank to be stamped and see what else you can discover.
