Waddesdon Manor houses an extensive collection of art from 18th-century furniture to Dutch Old Masters you are certain to have a great day spent exploring. Set amongst stunning gardens, perfect for a day spent outdoors.
Rolling parkland and manicured formal gardens act as the backdrop for this historic setting. The kids are free to jump, swing, climb, skip and play all day long. The playground winds through the trees near the stables, creating a magical natural environment. With slides, swings and plenty of soft bark to land on there’s lots of playing to be had. For something more exhilarating take a ride on the zip wire, or swing away on the giant bird nest swing.
The aviary houses a colourful collection of rare exotic birds, many close to extinction. You can learn in a beautiful setting about where they originate from, and be sure to look out for Mimi the resident Rothschild Mynah bird.

Waddesdon has a wide range of food outlets available. The Stables Cafe offers snacks, hot meals and homemade cakes, the Manor Restaurant offers breakfasts, an a la carte lunch menu, an express lunch menu and afternoon tea. The Treaterie has lots of sweet treats on offer, including waffles, crêpes, artisan ice cream, pastries and sweets. Both the coffee bar and summer house offer al fresco snacks, hot and cold drinks and ice creams
Dogs are allowed up to the Stables area but not into the main formal gardens, in any buildings or on the bus.
Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are available at both the Manor and Stables.
We have three shops: the Manor Gift Shop sells a range of jewellery, scarves, handbags, cards, mugs, tea towels, books and much more. The Stables shop sells retro toys and sweets and has a section for mums and dads too! There is also a wine shop at the M
Baby food facilities
There are baby food/milk warming facilities available.
The car park can take 1,000 cars and has dedicated places for Blue Badge holders and family parking. There’s a regular free shuttle bus service from the car park to the North Fountain and then to the Stables and finally back to the car park, which runs approximately every five minutes.

By train: The nearest train stations are Aylesbury or Aylesbury Vale Parkway. Trains run to and from Marylebone station. From 6 April Waddesdon is putting on a free bus service to and from Aylesbury Vale Parkway station, for the main season from April to October.
By road: For sat nav please use postcode HP18 0JH, the entrance to Waddesdon Manor is via Silk Street.
