Attraction Information
Tyntesfieldis a Spectacular Victorian Gothic Revival house amidst eminently explorable landscaped gardens and spacious parkland.
The visitor centre can be found in the beautiful historic farm building and as well as offering a wealth of local information houses a cafe, gift shop and garden shop. Nearby there is a play area based on the farm theme with wooden animals to meet, plus there is a play trail and a wildlife hub in the grounds where one can send and record pictures taken in the park.
The Kitchen Gardens are worth a look year round to see what seasonal produce they're showcasing, too.
There are also regular fun family events and pleasing activities offered such as behind-the-scenes and glass house tours, stargazing, woodland adventures or even murder mystery set ups if you're a big and brave type!
As a point of interest if you'd like to throw the kids for a loop, this entire grandiose estate was easily purchased by the extremely wealthy Gibbs family, who made their fortune selling bird poop. Completely true!
