Twycross Zoo is home to the largest collection of monkeys and apes in the Western World! What more could you wish for?
Discover a huge nature reserve and over 100 species, including the likes of Asian elephants, cheeky meerkats, hilarious hyenas and even the world’s rarest big cat - the Amur leopard. Creep below the treetop exhibit and say hello to the UK’s only group of Bonobos and even see all the 4 great apes. Then trek off to have lunch overlooking the snow leopard enclosure at the Himalaya Centre!
Try spot a creature of your favourite colour as you walk through the Butterfly Forest, a beautiful peaceful place. With so many exotic and endangered animals in the park, conservation is at the heart of everything Twycross does and kids can learn all about their mission with Animal Encounters and the Keeper for a Day programme. There’s also a huge multi-tiered soft play area for kids under 12, as well as great little picnic spots!

Fantastic Zoo. My Nephew loved it. There is a bald Chimpanzee.

Love this place; try to visit every year. Great zoo with animals, and a really chilled vibe. Lots of picnic areas, and lots to do.
