The Tower of London is one of England’s greatest medieval fortresses and offers a history lesson like no other! Throw yourself right back into the gory old days on tours, within exhibits and through the ages.
On a Beefeater’s guided tour, experience the interactive Armoury in Action exhibition and, if you dare, take a trip to the top floor and the original 18th-century executioner's block. Your little warriors will then be ready for battle! The Tower is under attack and they must join the royal guard beating back the terrible Red Earl and his advancing hordes. Will the ancient battlements hold? Find out in a live re-enactment.
Visit the Royal Beasts exhibit where you’ll learn all about the exotic animals which were held captive in the Tower for more than 600 years! And to finish with a bang, be dazzled by the 23,578 gems that make up the Crown Jewels in the Jewel House. Just don’t try and pinch any or you might find yourself up on the executioner’s block!

Came here with my family with a tour guide. Definitely recommend getting a guide! Fascinating stuff! I felt as if I was transformed back into time. Definitely a MUST when visiting London. There is so much to see so I recommend going early and prioritising what you want to see. The food is great as well! Brilliant place to visit!
Great Dad day out!

My Dad came to London for a week and visiting the Tower of London was high on his list. We spend a great 4 hours visiting every single corner. The Crown Jewels are really impressive and being a fan of the Tudors, it was a great experience.
So much history

Really good day out at the Tower of London. So much to see and do. Great value for money too. My only concern was that by the end of the afternoon my kids were getting a little fed up looking around. Overall though - brilliant place to take your family and catch a glimpse of the history of London.

Very interesting day, loads to see and do. The staff were also very friendly and very willing to help and answer questions. The lines were quite long at times but moved quickly. May become quite tedious for younger children but perfect if they're into history.
