Attraction Information
Torquay Alpine Ski Club is the oldest surviving dry ski slope in the world still in operation! Don't let that imply that it's old fashioned though, their modern upgraded features still permit a classic and exciting no-snow adventure for all ages!
Small kids, and to be honest big kids too, will love the Ringos: huge inflatable tubes on which one slides at speed down the ski slope! It takes no skill beyond a bit of common sense and is terrific fun: you can even hold on to one another and link the rings to give a nervous type a bit of support and drag on the way down.
Skiing and snowboarding sessions are available at all levels of development led by friendly experts, with absolute beginners (even at your age) welcome too for instructor led training. You'll be surprised at how quickly you'll progress under tuition, you'll be keeping up with the kids in no time.
There's also a rich history of racing here as well as current events being held, ideal inspiration for the Junior racing sessions which are on a Monday evening, from 6.45pm until 8pm and are priced at only £8.
