Attraction Information
Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens takes its commitment to conservation very seriously.
This ‘progressive’ zoo understands the need to protect those animals that are most endangered in order to preserve the species for years to come. They also give visitors the rare and special experience of getting close to animals that are becoming more and more remote in the wild as their habitat is being lost to development.
It’s difficult not to appreciate the raw power and beauty when you come face to face with a stunning Sumatran tiger, or close enough to count the spots on an Amur Leopard. You can also see primates, red pandas, lots of different birds in the aviary and alligators and snakes in the reptile house. There are unique viewing platforms and raised walkways to give you the best view possible so you can get up close to the magnificent animals of Asia.
It’s a wild experience!
