About The Venture Centre
Family groups can access The Venture Centre during weekend and school holiday periods and it's an ideal venue for active families to try a range of outdoor activities together. Sessions range from a few hours, to a day or for a full residential visit. They will happily customise a selection of activities to fit in with your requirements and the age range of your family. Age and height restrictions apply to some activities out of safety necessity so be sure to plan ahead.
The enormous range of cool activities include: Archery, Air rifle training, Assault course with ZipLine, Abseiling, Crate stacking challenge, Kayaking, Sea Kayaking, Canoeing, Dinghy sailing, Gorge walking, Campcraft, Off road cycling, Sight seeing, Orienteering, Raft building, Team building events, and Power boating. Phew!
There are also summer camps and kids' multi activity days, plus children's party options and a whole range of things choices for school and private groups. Every activity whether for family groups or organised parties is planned for the group at hand, with pacing determined by the youngest or least mobile member.
