Attraction Information
The Trolleybus Museum is the world's largest collection of preserved trolleybuses, alongside other vehicles and artefacts from the same era like trams, tractors and motorbuses. Ideal staring fare for your little rev head!
It bears mentioning that the opening days to the public are pretty limited, but equally when they are open they make an occasion of it and you can catch working trolleybus rides frequently. Often open days will have a seasonal theme or bonus, like the annual Easter Egg Hunt! Other options include Fish And Chip Supper Service, European Trolleybus Day and a few after dark sessions called the Twilight Trollies!
Please note that while there is reasonable disabled access the trolley bus rides may not be accessible to those with major disabilities; also the phone number reaches an automated line.
There is also an additional experience available for additional cost where older types can drive a trolleybus themselves! These sessions are held when the facility is otherwise closed.
Opening Times
Museum is only open to the public on certain weekends between March and November each year.
