Attraction Information
Get to grips with Devon’s rich history and global connections - for free - with interactive exhibitions at the Royal Albert Memorial Museum & Art Gallery.
There’s plenty to explore, starting with a firm favourite: their collection of specimens in the Case History gallery. Here kids can be blown away by life-sized examples of an African bull elephant, a huge suspended whale and Gerald the giraffe.
As well as exhibitions families are invited to get involved in a variety of events, including craft activities, storytelling, and workshops. The museum is based in the heart of the Exeter and would be an obvious option for rainy days.
