Attraction Information

The Regent's Park is one of the Royal Parks, offering large open spaces for outdoor exploration and family games. Head to the top of Primrose Hill for unparalleled views of London! The park is open daily throughout the year from 5am (closing times vary by season), and free to visit, with something for everyone to enjoy.

Marylebone Green Playground is a wonderland of climbing frames, seesaws, and sand pits divided into 3 themed zones. The Traditional Zone sticks with the 3 pillars of any good playground: swings, a seesaw and a climbing frame. The Art Zone has a spiralling folly and a slide, another sand pit and a cool lunar landscape; while the Natural Zone offers up a willow tunnel, clambering rocks and timber stilts plus a fallen Zelkova tree, all ready for climbing on.

The park is the largest grass area in Central London available for sports so be sure to bring a bat and ball. There are also a number of iconic Regent's Park activities available including the London Zoo, a boating lake, an open air theatre, and beautiful gardens to explore. The boating lake only offers adult pedalos during the week, but the separate children's lake is open at weekends, bank holidays and school holidays (subject to weather) and cute children's pedalos are available for hire.

There is a natural wildlife garden, featuring kid drawn information boards which children will find appealing, plus the Victorian style Avenue Gardens, and Queen Mary's Garden, which contains London's largest collection of roses, with a delightful 12,000 roses planted within the gardens!

The park is easily accessible by public transport, so it is a good idea to avoid coming by car if you can, as there are very limited parking spaces available.
