Attraction Information
The Little Theatre Cinema is a vintage cinema apparently strives to maintain a 1930s atmosphere but has conceded many refurbishments to keep the cinema a satisfyingly comfortable experience and features digital sound and projection technology. The Little Theatre has a balcony in the main auditorium with access available for a little extra if you'd like to make the best of the old school side!
Use the link to check up on their current showings and timetables. If you can get the kids interested in the cinema itself due to the vintage feel, then it was built in 1935 and initially showed only hourly programmes of documentaries and newsreels. Feature films started to be shown in 1939; while in 1979 they built the second screen.
It's worth noting that there is no parking provided for the cinema, but it is nicely accessible by public transport, so why not do that instead? Old school day!
