Attraction Information
The Bar and Cove Vean is a quiet, peaceful place even in the height of summer, this beach is on St Agnes, a short ferry trip from St Mary.
Take the short track down to the narrow sandbank called The Bar and at low tide you can cross to the tiny isle of Gugh and see some remarkable bronze age remains!
The Cove Vean itself is excellent and very safe for swimming and snorkelling, though there is no lifeguard cover at any time.
There are no local facilities.
Dogs permitted during winter.
Please be aware that the postcode and therefore sat nag are for the local Tourist Information Centre, so you need to plan your end journey thoroughly and independently.
