Take a peek back into history at Sulgrave Manor, am impressive Tudor and Georgian house, which was built by the ancestors of George Washington, the first US president. Follow the story of a family from as far back as the 14th century with tales of civil war, financial ruin and shipwrecks.
Costume interpreters, interactive games and engaging displays all help to bring the house and its inhabitants to life. There’s a guided tour suitable for all ages and extra fun and activities in the school holidays!
Children can search for Mr Washington’s sheep in the inviting gardens, look for Herbie Hedgehog and Cyril Squirrel or spot the large ladybirds, not forgetting to count their spots to find out their age! Stickers are available for every trail followed and there are games to be played in the paddock.
Spend the day in your very own Manor house!
