Attraction Information
Introduce your kids to skiing at Stoke Ski Centre with Junior Ski Lessons for 6 to 16-year-olds. Under the supervision of seasoned and friendly professionals, young snow lovers will soon be equipped with the skills required to get out there on their own safely, and often with surprising panache!
Most people take to skiing well with some supportive tuition, but if you're looking for something fun that doesn't require much skills or practice, give tubing a try. Anyone, including young kids, can slide down the Fun Slope, so it's great fun for the whole family. Fancy a bit of a thrill? As long as you're over 9, you can try tubing down the Adrenaline Slope. Tubing sessions take place on weekends and during the school holidays (but not bank holidays), so there's nothing to stop you from trying!
Up for a challenge? Come to Stoke Ski Centre on Fun Race Days, where intermediate and advanced juniors (plus adults) can enjoy 2 timed runs and a dual slalom. Great for getting some stats on how you're progressing and loads of fun besides! There are only 4 dates this year to do it one each month from March to July, so sign up early!
If you're competent skiers already (you must be able to control your speed, link turns and use the poma lift safely) then open practice sessions are available for you on a drop in basis without booking. Plus, there are Freestyle nights held every Thursday evening for a bit of extra fun!
You must wear gloves and long socks (along with some other clothes please, not on their own!) and they will provide the ski and snowboarding boots and any other necessary equipment, all covered by your original price.
