Attraction Information
St. Botolph’s Church has a passion for people and are always delighted to welcome visitors to the congregation. It’s a truly historic spot but with a whole lot to keep kids busy like art, music and...Lego®! This is church but not as you know it...
Since as far back as 1309, the ‘Boston Stump’ has been a Lincolnshire landmark with people flocking to explore the church and grounds. Now the dedicated team of volunteers are constructing the famous structure entirely out of Lego® bricks! Eventually it will stand at a considerable 2m high and will be made of 100,000 pieces. Stop by with little Lego® lovers and see how the project is going.
The church champions music with a children's choir, concerts and town-wide festivals. There are also frequent exhibitions involving local artists like Mark Baumber, and his evolution of ‘the Green Man’. Stop off at the coffee shop, take a tour around the parish library then if you have any energy left, climb the famous 209 steps up the Church Tower.
