RNLI Lifeboat Station Cromer Pier welcomes visitors who would like to have a look and learn about the station, crew and lifeboat.
The staff are friendly and happy to show you around, there is a lot of useful information, plus a list of all the people that have been saved thanks to RNLI Cromer. Kids will love it as there is the chance to get involved by dressing up in crew kits, using flags and equipment, plus toys to find out about the station and what they do.
The tours include a sea safety talk, information about the RNLI, a video and a chance to meet some of the crew and see their areas of the station.
You can also walk alongside the Tamar class lifeboat, which was the seventh to be built and the first of its kind on the East Coast.
Due to its nature, the station is not very wheelchair or pushchair accessible and the lifeboat may be out on a rescue or training when you visit, but the station is still very interesting.
