Attraction Information

Get ready to replace the busy city streets with charming landscape views with RHS Garden Wisley. Did you know RHS Wisley has one of the largest plant collections in the world?

RHS Garden Wisley is a stunning garden full of horticultural inspiration set to get your kids excited about nature! Not only will they get to see life through plants (whatever the season), but they can interact with minibeasts, learn about the ecosystem and share the importance of conservation!

Things To Do

With over 200 acres of historic gardens in this flagship garden, RHS Wisely takes you on a journey through a huge range of plants and alpines, small weeping trees, dwarf conifers and so much more.

Discover life through plants whether that's in The Four-Acre Winter Garden, Trials Garden, The Heron Bonsai Walk, The Alpine Meadow or the beautiful Bowes-Lyon rose garden.

RHS Wisley's oldest and most magnificent feature, the Rock Garden was constructed between 1910 and 1912, your little ones can uncover ancient plants like the cloud-pruned Japanese Larch! Check out other top-quality plants, bedding plants, shrubs and trees in the Rock Garden!

The Jubilee Abortarium is the perfect place for an idyllic picnic in the Summer surrounded by a collection of deciduous and evergreen trees.

See the garden’s exotic collection of rare, endangered species at The Glasshouse and engage your kids’ imagination with a walk in the Battleston Hill woodland gardens (it looks just like a jungle!). Don't forget to visit the buzzing Wildlife Garden and spot a wide range of minibeasts.

Looking for some family-friendly, special events or extra family activities? RHS Garden Wisley is full of surprises throughout the year. Stop by for the Wisley Garden flower shows, sculpture trails and many more educational events.

Make sure to stop by the RHS garden centre/plant centre, it's the perfect place for plant collectors and those with a passion for plants. Take a piece of this delightful garden with you and buy some gardening accessories and exotic plants.
