If your tykes LOVE trains, where better to take them than Railworld Wildlife Haven?
This model railway has all kinds locomotives, beginning with a classic Swedish Pacific steam train which is currently under restoration. Explore its many nooks and crannies before taking a stroll through the Garden Railways. The surrounding area - which was once an old Power Station and coal yard - has been lovingly recreated into a wildlife habitat. Be sure to pack a picnic and spend a few hours out in nature.
Over in the model railway (official title: 'OO' Gauge Model Railway), spot Thomas and friends out on one of their adventures. Channel the Fat Controller and send little locomotives off in different directions with just the push of a button. The track itself was built by volunteers and is over 1600 square feet in size!
