If your child is a train lover then take them to Railworld.
This model railway has some pretty impressive locomotives, as well as some firm favourites you’re bound to recognise in the Garden Model Railway. Starting off on the main track there’s a huge 140-ton Pacific steam locomotive from the Danish State railways, a DSB 996 under restoration and a unique RTV31.
Over in the model railway you can spot Thomas and friends out on one of their adventures. Become the Fat Controller and send them off in different directions by the push of a button. The track itself was built by volunteers and is over 1600 square feet in size. Alongside all the hard work that’s gone into the trains the surrounding natural area has also been lovingly nurtured to create Wildlife Haven - a gorgeous outdoor space.
Sure to become a chugging favourite amongst train fans!
