Attraction Information
For stargazing, wildlife walks and just a jolly good stretch of the legs, a visit to Queen Elizabeth Country Park is well overdue.
The park is home to 38 species of butterfly and 12 types of wild orchid, so is pretty much a paradise for local wildlife. If your littluns love all thing gross, be sure to join one of their ’fungal foray’ walks around the park; a ‘dawn chorus’ is also available for visitors who prefer a little less fungus on their family outings!
There are plenty of adventure trails as well as an animal themed play area for tiny tots, just don’t miss climbing the highest observing point in Hampshire for a spot of stargazing. It’s fantastic for aspiring astronomers, letting them see how many stars they can name and even making up a few of their own!
