Attraction Information
Looking for ways to get your kids active? Take them on the Portree Treasure Hunt Trail where the promise of buried (fictional) loot is sure to get their little limbs moving!
Before you take to the streets download your trail PDF. It’ll work much like a compass and lead you to clues hidden all over town on things like statues and signposts, or monuments and landmarks. Wherever they are they’ll be craftily hidden so make sure you use your eye spy skills when sniffing them out.
The route should take around 1.5 hours to complete which will leave you lots of time to explore the area. It’s a lovely, little town on the Isle of Skye with an actual Apothecary Tower , ancient houses and a few fantastic views. You could even choose a perfect spot and have a family picnic sat on the grass.
