Get your dose of culture for the day at Pencarrow House and Gardens: a gorgeous Georgian House surrounded by a lake and picturesque woodlands.
Families are welcome, and by that they mean the whole family, so bring your dog along! Kids can enjoy a playground as well as a full-size Wendy House. Work as a team finding your way through garden trails, as well when gathering your grey matter for one of the House Quizzes.
For something yummy for lunch, head to the Peacock Cafe and finish up at the resident gift shop.
