Attraction Information

Nestled in the heart of the stunning Staffordshire countryside, Peak Wildlife Park offers a unique and immersive experience for families looking to explore the wonders of the animal kingdom. With its wide range of interactive exhibits, spacious walk-through habitats, and commitment to conservation, this park provides an educational yet fun-filled day out for all ages!

Have you ever tried to walk like a penguin? Or jump like a lemur? Well, you’ll be able to practice right here at Peak Wildlife Park!

About The Park

This friendly wildlife park is a unique attraction that not only focuses on conservation but also entertainment and education! If you're looking for a lovely family day out, whether it's during the school holidays or a weekend treat - this is the place to be!

Families can wander through carefully designed habitats that mimic the natural environments of the park's residents, allowing for close-up encounters with species from around the world. Whether it's walking alongside waddling penguins, observing the curious ring-tailed lemurs, or spotting the majestic zebra, the park offers an unparalleled opportunity to learn about animals' habits, diets, and conservation status!

The Animals

If you're looking for an immersive animal experience, now is the time to get up close to the animals at Peak Wildlife Park! With large walkthroughs and enclosures for animals, you can literally follow in a penguin's footsteps, sit next to a lemur and pet, feed and wander amongst the wallabies! Not to mention a whole range of animals like the meerkats, the African pygmy goat and the lowland tapir - just to name a few!

Say hello to their resident polar bears, Hope, Nanook and Noori as they settle into their home! Mum, Hope and her two cubs join us all the way from Finland and they're certainly making a splash in their brand new 5-acre reserve!

There are keepers on hand giving regular keeper talks about all the amazing animals so you can get to know them all a little better, as well as understand all about how to look after them.

Children's Playtime

After meeting and greeting the animals children can play in the outdoor play area with a large sand pit, or head to the Jungle Bounce – a huge bouncy castle!

From the jungle gym and space hoppers to the indoor soft play area! There's two large jungle themed levels packed with fun, like slides, bridges and ladders for the kids to burn off some energy!

Make some new friends you’ll never forget!

Seasonal Events

Peak Wildlife Park goes beyond daily animal encounters by hosting a variety of seasonal events and activities that enhance the visitor experience. From Easter egg hunts and Halloween spookfests to summer wildlife workshops, there's always something new and exciting to look forward to!

These events offer additional learning opportunities and fun ways to engage with the park's animal residents, ensuring that no two visits are ever the same.

Food & Drink

Are your tummies growling? Head to the cafe for some delicious grub!

From stone-baked pizzas and sandwiches to baked goodies and sweet treats. There's one thing for sure, you won't be leaving on an empty stomach.

There's also plenty of cold drinks and hot drinks too, not to mention you can also bring a picnic lunch.

Practical Information and Planning Your Visit

To make the most of your family day out at Peak Wildlife Park, it's worth planning ahead. The park is open year-round, but opening times can vary by season, so check the official website for the most up-to-date information. Tickets can be purchased online in advance to save time on arrival, and there are often family ticket options available that offer savings for larger groups.

Whether you're a family of animal lovers, budding conservationists, or simply looking for a day out that's out of the ordinary, Peak Wildlife Park promises an adventure that's as educational as it is exhilarating.

"Amazing hands on place. Lots to see. We spent 2 1/2 hours here but we had a toddler with us and that was long enough for him. You could easily spend 4 hours wandering around. Lots of seating and picnic areas. Lovely cafe. All in all a recommended day out." - Jo
