If you can’t get enough of country walks, and your kids love tracking down treasure, this is the day out for you! Have a crack at the Nottingham Treasure Hunt Trail which just happens to call a Grade II listed Arboretum home.
Find your way amongst the trees by downloading your route PDF. It’s instantly accessible and means you can head out the door at the first sight of sun - always handy on the British Isles! It’s also packed with hints which will lead to hidden clues and ultimately to the fabulous (if fictional) treasure.
The Arboretum is an incredible sight all on its own but with the route only taking around 2 hours to complete, there’s plenty more to explore. Begin at the Nottingham Playhouse and inspire any little luvvies in your group. From here see all sorts of historic buildings, including the Royal Centre and the old Market Square.
