Attraction Information
Treat your animal-mad little ones to a special day out they'll never forget at the National Cat Centre. Not only can you meet the cats looking for their forever homes and spend time with them, you also follow a nature trail and finish the day with a homemade meal at the Visitors Centre.
The Cats Protection League are one of the leading cat rescue charities in the UK. Visiting the centre, spending money on items for your furry friends in their shop, and eating in their café are great ways to help them rescue even more cats and kittens. You can walk around the adoption centre with your children and see the cats waiting to be find homes—sometimes there is even a cat roaming around freely in the reception area!
Help your children get closer to nature on the trail around the Centre. You'll encounter all kinds of wildlife on the walk, and you can even pick up a family adventure pack from Reception for this 2km trek. Complete the course at your own pace and come back in time for a drink.
