Attraction Information
Museum of Lincolnshire Life is a family friendly museum that celebrates the culture and social history of the people of Lincolnshire from 1750 to the present day.
There are a number of exhibits, which illustrate commercial, agricultural, industrial, and domestic life. The museum is also home to an authentic WWI tank, called ‘Flirt', plus it houses interactive galleries of the Royal Lincolnshire Regiment, which can help people find information about family members who served there.
Kids will love the History Hunters playground, which is great for letting off steam. And you will all enjoy exploring the museum together, looking out for displays, objects and aspects of the building's military past, all of which inspired the playground.
There is always a Children's Trail available to ensure that the youngest visitors can discover every nook and cranny, and once complete, kids get an official History Hunter badge!
An excellent place to spend a couple of interesting hours with the kids for free, which is not to be sniffed at! Great for helping out with school work or a home learning project too. Handy!
