Muncaster is also home to the prestigious Hawk and Owl Centre with 2 breath-taking daily flying displays (main season only) and you can also watch wild herons come in for food!

Came from Ambleside and it was a hard drive. The kids liked the birds of prey show. The castle less so. Lovely gardens. At the cafe had some really good food. Free parking but its a long walk to the castle grounds The half sized railway is 5 mins away.
