Venue type: Indoor
Are your kids a crafty bunch or do they simply love getting covered in paint and clay? Either way, they’re sure to love a creative day out at Mudpie Studio.
This family-owned studio wants kids to dig deep into their imagination and offers the best tools to do so. Pottery painting, Foam Clay and Decoptach are a few of the techniques they could try, and courses in hand-building clay and pottery wheels are a great way to hone their skills.
Seeing what your little art stars make is always a lovely thing, plus they’re perfect presents for grandparents and the like. The team make sure the studio is a hub for families so serve up yummy cake and ice cream (fuel for the creative burn!) and don’t charge studio fees; rather an honest price for your prize piece of pottery.

Visited with our children and friends, ages 2, 5, 5,7 and 9. Everyone fully enjoyed themselves. The place is beautiful with a great atmosphere and warm friendly staff. Children will have a go at the pottery wheel next week. Highly recommend.

Took my 11 year old daughter there during school holiday, just walked in. Very friendly place, lots of pottery to choose from. Daughter had a great time, I even did some and found it very relaxing, good music in the background and great coffee. Daughter wants to go back with her friends for her birthday. Highly recommend this great place.
Won't be going back sorry!!!

Little Miss Mop It Up in the last week The place itself is lovely. Bright and airy with modern furniture a comfi sofa in one corner. Ample tables and chairs. The idea of the business is amazing in my opinion and different and painting is very relaxing and enjoyable. In my honest opinion what let's it down is the staff. It was my first visit with my 5 year old and 5 month old baby. As we walked in I was not greeted as you would be expected or asked if I had been there before. I was unsure what to do and nobody explained it to me. In the end I had to ask a young girl who looked about 16!! She spoke to quietly I couldn't hear her and I had to keep asking her to repeat herself. She didn't really explain anything to me. There is a guy that walks around and looks like he owns the place but looks scared of the customers!!! He doesn't speak to any of them and walks round aimlessly. It's a shame because the whole business idea and set up are excellent. They need to make sure when people walk in they are firstly greeted and asked if they have been before and then clearly given details on how it all works. Otherwise people will feel like me.... ignored. So for this reason I won't be back in afraid. Oh and also nobody offered ANY help with my pushchair on the way out up the stairs. I have left 2 stars but that is ONLY for the pottery and business idea. The lack of stars is due to the lack of customer service!!
