Attraction Information
The Safari Park
The drive-through safari is wilder and furrier than you've known before. You'll drive past the lion paddock where you may even catch some Longleat lion cubs. They're free-roaming so make sure your doors and windows are closed and watch them pad past the car or seek shade under a nearby tree! See Anne the elephant, hunt down the wolf pack with your phone to snap that perfect picture and gasp at the magnitude of the white rhino as it comes crashing past your path.
Set off on a voyage with the Jungle Cruise, where you'll come across sea lions that are swimming looking for tasty fish. Sail past Gorilla Colony and keep an eye out for the resident hippos Spot and Sonia! Then head to the Jungle Kingdom for a chance to catch the cheeky meerkats in the meerkat walk-through enclosure! Watch them dash and run around, and discover the porcupines, giant anteaters and aardvarks too. But don't forget to visit the giant otters and Cuban crocodiles who are both impressive and a must-see, living in a swamp-like habitat with vines spreading all around.
Go on a walking safari through the African village to meet giraffes and zebra, all on foot! You can even visit the viewing platform where you can see the giraffes feeding daily. You can also experience the Lemur
Walk through and see ring-tailed lemurs clambering in the trees and relaxing. Not only that, but you can catch African tortoises and pygmy goats in the scenic woodland and environment. Then say hello to Longleat Safari Park's first southern koala born in Europe! The joey first appeared to visitors in February 2022 after spending the first 7 months of her life in her mother's pouch. You can find mom and baby koala in Koala Creek and it's one of the finest examples of species of animal that isn't found around here. Especially since they're most commonly found in Australia.
Fancy hand feeding? You can hand feed the beautiful lorikeets and wander into the bat cave and monkey temple.
