Libertys Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre is named after one of the many birds of prey on display, their Alaskan Bald Eagle. You can also see Vultures, Hawks, Falcons and Owls and learn about the many personalities present in featured form! One of those educational trips where they'll hardly notice they're learning.
Most of these can be seen in the daily flying demonstrations, which can be seen in any weather as the centre has indoor and outdoor display facilities. This is a great opportunity to see some of these amazing birds in action while you learn all about them.
They also run a daily Reptile Show during the Summer holidays, where kids can get up close to animals including lizards, snakes and spiders and find out some fascinating facts and get some delicious shivers! Smaller kids especially will be fascinated.
For those who want a closer encounter, special falconry handling, photographic experiences and hawking experience days are available too! A few extra bucks sure but will the kids forget doing it? Never!
Great chance for the kids to see one of the largest groups of birds of prey in the area (over 140 species!) and learn about the important works around breeding and conservation.
