Attraction Information
Serving up 154 acres of parkland to explore, there are buggy and wheelchair friendly paths plus over 10 miles of designated cycling routes bisecting all areas of the park, except the Temple Gardens and Arboretum where no cycling is permitted and no dogs are allowed. Otherwise the family hound is welcome too!
All of the most popular spots have picnic facilities nearby so feel free but there's also a family friendly cafe right near the adventure playground, which features lots of sturdy equipment for younger types including slides, swings, a seesaw and play house!
Mid range kids with energy to burn will enjoy tearing round one (or more!) of the 2 orienteering courses available, the map and compass for which can be collected from the informative Visitor Centre, ordered by telephone or even bought online if you're feeling all organised.
For older ones there's also a Go Ape High Ropes Adventure Course located in this park, so check out the local listings for further information.
