If you’re lucky enough to live near the Lake District, or you’re enjoying a holiday call in to Lakeland Maze and Farm Park.
Winner of the Maize Maze of the year in 2011 and again in 2013, this top farm attraction is open weekends and school holidays from Easter and weekdays from 2nd July to 2nd September. There are lots of animals and activities on the working farm; see cattle, sheep, pigs, ferrets, llamas, alpacas, goats, horses and Winston the donkey!
Animal feed is available to buy and staff are on hand to talk you through how to approach the animals. Once you’ve run out of food it’s time to play! Jump on the trampolines, race your friends and family in the go-karts and enjoy a tractor ride. Indoors there’s a soft play area, pedal-powered karts, straw bale maze and a pets barn where you can meet some of the smaller residents of the farm.
