Attraction Information
To reach Kiloran Beach it seems one must walk through Colonsay beach first, but it's worth the extra exercise with clear water, golden sands and idyllic views.
Immediate vicinity amenities don't include anything modern, but the caves at the north end of Kiloran Bay are visited quite easily and provided you don't mind sharing the space with otters, bats, pigeons and spiders they're well worth some exploration.
It's popular with surfers, great for playing on the white sands and wildlife spotting, including dolphin and otters. If you're lucky you may even see some whales. Don't miss the sight of a river meandering across the sands to the sea when the tide falls: it's truly amazing!
